Evidence consistently shows that gender inequality constrains economic growth, weakens governance, and perpetuates poverty and exclusion. Gendered power imbalances limit women’s access to resources, decision-making, and economic opportunities, undermining development outcomes across sectors. By applying gender-transformative and feminist research-informed approaches, we address the structural drivers of inequality, strengthen women’s rights and leadership, and expand women’s economic participation—delivering measurable gains in household welfare, institutional performance, and inclusive, sustainable development.
