If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notification that includes:

  • Your contact details

  • Identification of the removed material and its original location

  • A statement under penalty of perjury asserting your lawful right to use the material

  • A declaration consenting to Kenyan jurisdiction

We will evaluate and respond in accordance with the law.

6. Consequences of Violation

Infringement of this policy may result in:

  • Immediate removal of unauthorized content

  • Temporary or permanent suspension of user access

  • Civil or criminal liability under Kenya’s Copyright Act (Sections 35–38), which may include:

    • Fines of up to KES 800,000

    • Imprisonment for up to 10 years

    • Civil damages and injunctive relief
