Through Monitoring, Evaluation & Research, we design human rights–based, gender-responsive, and feminist research–informed monitoring and evaluation systems that generate high-quality, disaggregated evidence. Our approaches support results-based management, adaptive learning, and accountability across child rights, disability inclusion, youth outcomes, women’s economic empowerment, climate resilience, and Blue Economy interventions.

We support the translation of global, regional, and national policy commitments into measurable and sustainable outcomes through Program Design & Grant Management. Working with governments, civil society organisations, and development partners, we design, resource, and manage programmes aligned with internationally agreed development frameworks and policy priorities. Our work spans inclusive education, youth skills development, gender equality, climate action, Blue Economy initiatives, and human rights obligations—ensuring coherence, effectiveness, fiduciary integrity, and value for money across the programme cycle.

Through our Political Economy, Governance & Democracy practice, South Consultants applies political economy and feminist analytical approaches to understand how power relations, social norms, and institutional incentives shape development and governance outcomes. This analysis informs inclusive, context-sensitive, and politically feasible reforms that strengthen democratic governance, accountability, participation, and institutional performance across social, economic, and environmental sectors.

Our Organizational Transformation & Institutional Strengthening work focuses on building capable, accountable, and inclusive institutions. We support organisations and public institutions to embed gender equality, diversity and inclusion (GEDI), disability inclusion, child-sensitive approaches, and environmental governance within leadership, systems, policies, and service delivery. This contributes to institutional resilience, improved service outcomes, and sustainable impact at scale.

Across Education Systems, ECD & Youth Skills Development; Gender Equality and Women’s Economic Empowerment; Human Rights & Social Justice; and Climate Change, Blue Economy & Resilience, South Consultants advances integrated, rights-based, and equity-focused solutions that respond to diverse development priorities.
